5 THINGS YOU SHOULD DO EVERY MORNING!!!

You are more likely to have a productive day and “life” if you have a routine!!!

HI READER...

You're highly welcome to the weekly diet with Plandaily where your health is your lifestyle!!!
Yeah you guessed right.. 5 things you should do every morning… whether you have an 8-5 job or you own a business or perhaps you feel you're a boss and an employer of man power Plangdaily wants to let you know that your life MUST be ruled by principles and consistent habits/routine else you're running at a really pricey expense that might be too costly for you later! You shouldn’t start a day without at least a program else you'll be forced to accept whatever the day offers to you!!

So are there days you wake up and feel like you woke up on the right side of the bed? Everything just seems right. You're up before your alarm rings, your morning exercise feels great, breakfast tastes nutritious, no traffic to work and you feel you could conquer the world! While on some other days, its just the complete opposite?
Well, worry no more!!! Here are 5 things you should do every morning and watch how they become your lifestyle…

            1. WAKE UP AND DRESS YOUR BED!

Yes dress your bed! Whether you are male or female, child or adult, tired or not, norm or taboo, husband or wife… as long as you lay in a bed, you gotta lay it!!!
The very first accomplishment of the day is that of making the bed you laid in!. Accomplishing tasks as little as laying your bed gives you the first feeling of accomplishment and the enthusiasm to conquer bigger tasks in the day.

Personally I have developed a habit of dressing my bed EVERY morning that I'm never in a hurry to lay the bed I lay in (it’s a habit already lol- I can't leave my room without dressing my bed).
Society might say that the menial chores like bed-laying is the duty of the female wife/gender. Please if you're reading this post, irrespective of your gender, MAKE SURE YOU DRESS YOUR BED the next time you lay in one. It is always often your first accomplishment for the day and when you do so, you're already in the spirit of accomplishing all your other tasks for the day!.

  2.  DRINK A GLASS OF WATER!

I bet you did not know that drinking water is as essential as the oxygen you breath! Especially in the morning.
We wake up every morning dehydrated and there is a lot of toxic accumulation in our body therefore taking water aids in flushing these waste, free radicals and residue from over night metabolic activities. and often times we just proceed into the day. Never be in a hurry for morning rehydration! (I heard hospital bills are not cheap anymore lol) because not taking enough water is very dangerous for the body as water comprises 60% of the body weight so DO NOT DEHYDRATE YOURSELF!!!

FUN FACT- A glass of warm water before shower can lower your blood pressure

  3. TAKE A SHOWER!!!

When I was younger, if I took a shower the night before, it covers up for the next morning till the next evening before I shower again and the routine goes on (well its pretty chill in the mornings and I would run late for school if I wasted time taking a shower) so I substituted morning shower with brushing my teeth and just washing my face as well as my genital areas.

But did you know that morning showers wakes your body up leaving you feeling refreshed and ready for the day? (you wouldn't want to go about smelling dirty all day). No matter how clean you think you are, please take a shower because it; increases your alertness, naturally refines your hair and skin (first line of defense against acne, pimple and other skin related issues/blemishes), improves your immunity and circulation, improves weight loss, eases stress and relieves depression!.

  4. DO NOT MISS BREAKFAST!!!

One of my favorite food quote is: EAT BREAKFAST LIKE A KING, LUNCH LIKE A PRINCE AND SUPPER LIKE A SERVANT! ( sounds funny lol but its true). One of my bestfriends never misses her breakfast before the day begins and if she does, she literary complains through the day (fatigue, drowsiness, hunger etc) before her next meal.

Food is the major source of our bodies energy therefore it is important to kick off your day with adequate energy reserve! starting your day on an empty stomach is like force driving a car on empty fuel tank (sounds like disaster to me)
Our body metabolism is better in the morning. That means that the body is better able to turn the calories you eat into energy that you can use in the morning, says Goel. when you eat bigger meals as the day progresses, there is a higher tendency of gaining weight and increase in body cholesterol is harmful to the body. so next time you are considering skipping breakfast, just remember you have to EAT BREAKFAST LIKE A KING which is to your own advantage. In essence, NEVER MISS BREAKFAST!!!

   5. MEDITATE!

“Quieting the brain is a time-honored way to be more creative, more contemplative and more in touch with oneself,” Goodwin says. meditation helps you to be calm and focus more and what better way to start your day than in meditation!!! it aids you to think more effectively and efficiently, it should make for a much more productive day.
There are various ways of meditating (e.g. staying quite for a while to think, painting, journaling etc- they all calm the brain) but personally I like to start my day with a quite time/devotion (because I'm a Christain). I have noticed that I always have a productive day when I involve God in it!... You should try meditating and you wouldn't stop!!!

NOTE: There are other essential morning must do(s) like exercise and tuning with nature/loved ones but these few tops our priority list. So please feel free to share your morning must do(s) with Plangdaily and leave a feedback if you're adopting a new lifestyle for a more productive day!.

XO,
Plangdaily

  3. Comprehensive and accurate. However, I saw a controversial study some time ago which suggests that we should drink water only when we're thirsty as too much water intake can cause health issues. Of course the usefulness of water can never be overemphasized.

    1. The usefulness if water can never really be overemphasized. Please it is very harmful not to take adequate amount of water daily! Limiting water intake only to thirst demand is poor habit. Water makes up 60% of the entire human body and helps in dilution and flushing of toxic body waste! Drink water please else you'll have to pay health bill for a treatment that water intake can easily prevent...
